Why quotes vary so much in this market
Call five detailers in Clark and Multnomah counties and you will get five very different numbers, and not because someone is lying. The word detailing covers everything from a fifteen-minute vacuum-and-spray to multi-day paint correction, and a lot of businesses do not say up front which one they are quoting.
We do not do paint correction or ceramic coating. We focus on interior detailing, exterior washing, and furniture and upholstery cleaning, priced plainly by vehicle size rather than by a package tier.
Our actual prices
Interior and exterior are priced separately by vehicle class, with a flat $30 discount when you book both on the same visit.
- Sedan & Wagon: Interior $150, Exterior $100, both together $220
- SUV & Crossover: Interior $250, Exterior $100, both together $320
- Minivan, Van & Pickup: Interior $300, Exterior $150, both together $420
These are our real prices, not a starting estimate that grows once we arrive. Condition still matters, see below.
What moves the number
The vehicle class above accounts for size. The other variable is condition, and it is the one people forget.
Condition. Heavy pet hair, a drink spilled into the carpet months ago, or a car that has not been vacuumed in a year all add real time on top of a normal job. We would rather know that before we arrive than discover it once we start.
Water and power access. We need an outdoor spigot and a nearby electrical outlet at the address. If that is not available, exterior work is not possible there, and we will tell you before booking rather than after arriving.

- Do you need my water and power, or do you bring your own?
- Is the price you quoted for interior, exterior, or both?
- What happens if the car is dirtier than I described?
- How long will the job actually take?

A phone description like "pretty dirty" can mean a lot of different things. A couple of photos and a few details about what is going on with the vehicle mean the price we give you up front is the price you pay on the day.
